These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of DateLumi, including our website at datelumi.com and our AI companion text messaging service (together, the "Service"). In these Terms, "DateLumi," "we" and "us" mean the operator of the Service. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility

You must be 18 years of age or older to use the Service. By signing up, you confirm that you are at least 18.

Your companion is an AI

Your DateLumi companion is an artificial intelligence, not a real person. Her messages are generated automatically. Responses may sometimes be inaccurate or unexpected, and should not be relied on as facts or advice.

Acceptable use

DateLumi is a safe-for-work companionship service. No explicit or sexual content is provided through the Service, and you agree not to use the Service to request or send explicit content, to harass anyone, or for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms.

Not a substitute for professional help

The Service is for companionship and conversation only. It is not a substitute for professional medical, mental health, legal or financial advice. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline in the US) or call 911 in an emergency.

SMS Terms

  • Program name: DateLumi.
  • Program description: conversations with an AI companion, occasional check-in messages and safe-for-work images, sent by text message to the mobile number you provide when you sign up.
  • Message frequency: message frequency varies.
  • Cost: message and data rates may apply.
  • Opt out: reply STOP at any time to cancel. You will receive one message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and you will receive no further messages unless you sign up again.
  • Help: reply HELP for help, or contact us at datelumisupport@gmail.com.
  • Carriers: carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Age: the Service is for people 18 or older only.
  • AI companion: your companion is an AI and not a real person.
  • Content: no explicit content is sent through the Service.
  • Privacy: see our Privacy Policy.

Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may change or discontinue the Service, or update these Terms, at any time. We will post updated Terms on this page and change the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, DateLumi is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
